Math enrichment letter for homework extension

Dear Parent,

  

Based on your child’s math assessments, ________ has been selected to be a part of the class math enrichment homework program. Your child should complete all homework in the weekly homework packet before working on the attached materials. Your child the attached materials should complete at their own pace and with or without your help. They may complete as little or as much of the workbook as they would like from week to week. This is a completely voluntary, optional activity. As soon as the initial workbook is completed, new materials will be forwarded for further at-home enrichment.

  

Instruction of and about computational concepts and structures will be part of the in- class enrichment your child will be receiving. With enrichment homework our goal is to help broaden the conceptual underpinnings of mathematical reasoning.
